- All SHTURMANN GPS navigators have passed successfully the certification procedure and each model has a Compliance Certificate and a Sanitary/Hygienic Certificate. Copies of these Certificates can be reviewed in our official dealers’ sales outlets.
How long are the warranty periods for purchased products?
- The Warranty Period for each SHTURMANN GPS navigator is one year starting from the day of purchase. The day of purchase must be specified in the Warranty Card attached to the product kit. The warranty period for any optional accessory is 3 months starting from the day of purchase. Each warranty card must be validated by the cashier slip.
Where can a SHTURMANN navigator be bought?
- Our PNDs are available in a number of retail chains such as ION, Start Master and Bely Veter (White Wind) or from Internet shops such as auto-gps.ru, navigator-market.ru and storr.ru.

My SHTURMANN A200 has two navigation programs. How can I switch between the two?
- The Navitel Navigator (or City Guide) program is stored on the memory card. To boot this application, insert the memory card, turn on your PND and click ‘Navigation’.
To boot iGO8, remove the memory card and click ‘Navigation’.
I have a SHTURMANN A200. What navigation software is installed on this PND?
- By default each PND is supplied with the iGO8 application stored on the A200 internal memory. Optionally, these PNDs can also be supplied with Navitel Navigator or City Guide pre-installed. To learn whether your A200 does or does not have any one of these applications please look at the packing box and also check if the respective sticker and memory card are or are not in the box.
I bought my PND complete with the MTS cellular operator’s map. How can I know my MTS phone number and my account balance?
- To learn your phone number, send an SMS containing ‘777’ to short number 111. Or you can visit the Customer’s section on our web site and enter your SIM card number in the special box. To learn your account balance, send an SMS containing ‘11’ to 111.

Can I install other navigation applications on SHTURMANN PNDs?
- Yes, you can if you call Navicenter at (+7-495)-644-9144.
How can I update my Link300 maps?
- The answer depends on the particular navigation software pre-installed on your PND. Look at the sticker at the end wall of your packing box. If your software is Navitel Navigator then this application and/or maps can be updated at www.navitel.su. Avtosputnik can be updated at www.autosputnik.com. To update the City Guide program and/or maps visit www.probki.net.
I cannot get Internet connectivity on my Link300.
If you fail to connect to the Internet from your PND, verify that
- Your SIM card account balance is positive - Your SIM card is in its slot and is tightly fixed with the stopper - Your battery’s charge level is at least 50% - In the GPRS settings (Settings — Network — GPRS), the Automatic Connection box is checked and your operator is selected - Your operator’s name is displayed in the top left corner of the Main Menu. How can I connect to the Internet from my Link300?
- Insert your MTS SIM card in its slot and fix tightly the slot stopper. Verify that the PND battery’s charge level is at least 50%. If everything is done correctly then you will see ‘MTS’ in the top left corner and an empty (i.e., uncrossed) circle to the right of ‘MTS’. This will be an indication of a successful Internet connection.
I have a Link300. Where can I view and download the latest PND firmware?
- Any recent Link300 firmware can be found on the Customers page of our web site.
